Offerings from our parishioners make up over 90% of the income needed to cover operating expenses and church activities. IHM needs your regular on-going financial support to cover operating expenses which include utilities, payroll, liturgy, faith formation, building & grounds maintenance and repairs and more. Your contribution to the Priests’ Retirement and Benefits Collection provides for the future pension and retiree health benefits of the 108 priests from the Diocese of Charlotte, other dioceses and religious orders who are currently involved in active ministry and serving the faithful of western North Carolina.

The Diocese assesses STW an amount for this fund annually, which is offset by contributions from parishioners. Watch for second collections on select Sundays, or contribute using the STW online giving tool, or via the diocesean site (be sure to select [Saint William, Murphy - 089] from the dropdown. 

Your generosity to the 2022 Diocesan Support Appeal helps the Diocese of Charlotte continue to provide quality programs and services through Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte, Vocations, and Educational, Multicultural, and Housing ministries.

STW is assessed an amount for this fund by the diocese. Parishioners are encouraged to support the DSA directly, to offset the assessment, which otherwise comes from operating funds. Contribute using your STW Vanco onling giving account, via the diocesan website [select Saint William, Murphy - 089 from the dropdown] or pick-up a DSA envelope from the Commons to use for the monthly second collections.
