A celebration of the life of Wade Jankowski will take place Tuesday April 2nd at the 11AM Mass. Military honors and Inurnment will follow in the Columbarium. Please join Clare and her family in the Commons for a light luncheon following the service.
The Men's Club has refurbished a shed on the church campus for the sole purpose of storing medical equipment for use by our parishioners. Gently used walkers, portable commodes, wheel chairs, canes, shower chairs, etc. are welcomed and appreciated. These medical items will be available to any parishioner in need and should be re-turned in good condition when you are through with them. A huge thank you to the Men’s Club for recognizing the geriatric needs of our parishioners. If you have a contribution or a questions please contact Tiny Thompson at 904-652-7826, any men’s club member or call the parish office.
Bulletin Prayer Lists will be purged on March 31st. The Bulletin prayer list contains the names of Parishioners and immediate family members in need of prayers, and the e-alert system is for friends and extended family members as well as Parishioners. The Prayers of the Faithful which are read from the altar during Mass are for the most serious illnesses of our Parishioners. They are also remembered on the Bulletin Prayer list for each Parish. If you wish your family member to be remembered, it is important that you contact the office. Please respect other’s privacy and be sure you have authorization from the person or their immediate family to place someone on the list.
Little Black Books are available on the card table in the Commons. Please be sure to pick one up. This is a perfect companion as we begin our journey with Jesus.
The Men’s Club at St. William cordially invite parishioners from St. William and Immaculate Heart of Mary to join together for a traditional St. Patty’s Day Irish dinner, music and fellowship. Please make your checks payable to St. William Men’s Club. This event is a “bring your own beer and wine only” event! Join us for some fun the Irish way!
Are you looking for something extra to do for Lent this year? Miranda Hall, daughter of Tom and Chris Hall, has chosen as her school exit project to honor our deployed military. During Lent we will be collecting supplies to pack a care package for 10 soldiers who are in need of supplies. Please see the insert in this week’s bulletin for a note from Miranda and a list of supplies requested. You may place your generous donations in the designated boxes out in the Commons. What better way to support our military than to make them a part of your Lenten journey. If you have any questions, please contact the office. Thank you for your support of our American heroes.
Our Series continues this Tuesday, March 12th, with Our Lady of Las Lajas. Please bring your lunch, and join us as we continue to learn more about our faith.
Don't forget to join fellow parishioners in the Commons Fridays during Lent from 5PM to 7PM (except for March 15th) and enjoy a fabulous fish dinner.
