SVdP handled 33 cases, directly impacting the lives of 76 people last month. We collected just 25% of what we distributed. Our families are in great need of utilities, especially during this cold weather. Your faithful generosity is greatly appreciated which enables us to help those families in the greatest of need. We pray Jesus words “Whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me.”
St. William is again hosting the Ecumenical Lenten Luncheons at Noon on Wednesdays during Lent starting March 13, 2019. Each Wednesday clergy from different Churches in the area will conduct the service which will be followed by a light Lenten luncheon. The programs always prove insightful and interesting, and it is a great opportunity to meet people from our community.
Brown Bag Lunch Series continues Tuesday, February 12th in the Commons. The topic for this session is “Our Lady of Good Success precedes Our Lady of Fatima.” All are invited to bring your lunch and join us
Hulbert-Johnson is in desperate need of large, sturdy book bags /backpacks for the personal belongings of residents when they leave. There is a large black container in the Commons at St. William, clearly marked and with a sample of what they are requesting. As you may know both Parishes contribute to this ministry of helping the homeless and your donation is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Donna or Jim Brummert at 389-3686. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Advocate Don Cattaneo is stepping down as annulment coordinator for our area. If you require information regarding annulment procedures, please contact Gail in the Parish business office at 828-837-2000.
