St. Vincent de Paul Annual Italian Fund Raising Dinner. Our annual gala will take place Friday, September 28th at 6PM in the Sr. Terry Martin Fellowship Hall. Join us for great food, entertainment, adult beverages and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $25 each and will be available closer to the date. Please join us for a great evening while helping us help others. “Ci vediamo li.”

The fun starts at 5PM out at the Pavilion, and all you have to bring is your dancing shoes! Music will be provided by our very own DJ David Mastifino! You will feast on your choice of grilled hamburgers, hotdogs or chicken sandwich and sides with your choice of soft drinks, water and tea. You may also bring your own beer or wine only. If you have not signed up, please call the parish office. We are trying to get as accurate a count as possible for the food. Mass on Friday will be at 4PM, followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

The 14th Annual Angie Harris Memorial Bowling Tournament was held Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Casino bowling lanes in Murphy, NC. This year was a wonderful success. If you happen to see Jean Hobbs or Carole Johnson, please congratulate them on a job well done! This is an annual event sponsored by St. William for the last 36 years.

Bulletin Prayer Lists will be purged on September 30th. The Bulletin prayer list contains the names of Parishioners and immediate family members in need of prayers, and the e-alert system is for friends and extended family members as well as Parishioners. Click heading for full details.

Children's Faith Formation grades 1-6 and Confirmation resume Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Classes run from 6:00-7:30PM in the Seiglie Center. Registration will take place Sept. 19th from 5:30-6:00PM before regular classes begin. Click for more information.

Prayerful Hands Shawl Ministry has created Pocket Prayers for our military and 1st responders. If you have a family member in these professions, please feel free to take one from the basket in the Commons to send to your loved one. These are little reminders that those who serve to protect us and our freedoms are in our prayers.

Looking for gently used blankets, sheets, pillow cases, comforters, bedspreads and/or fabric to be transformed into shawls and lap blankets for our residents in the nursing home. Please contact Sally Grega for more information at 837-6248. Thank you for your contribution to our ministry.

If you are celebrating your silver or golden wedding anniversary this year, please contact the church office if you wish to be included in the celebration. The Mass will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Charlotte. Mass begins at 2:30PM and will be followed by a reception. To receive an invitation, please call the Church Office to register. The deadline for registration is September 28th!

Sessions will start at IHM on Wednesday, October 10th at 10AM in the Upstairs Kitchen. Six Sessions will be held ending November 14th. These sessions are meant to be a comfortable, casual and confidential way for all who have suffered a loss, to listen and share their experiences. All are welcome.
