There will be a Right To Life, "Life Chain" in Murphy this Sunday October 1st. It will be held on the sidewalk in front of the courthouse. We will begin at 1 PM thru 3 PM. There will be signs for each individual. This is a prayerfully silent event proclaiming life is a gift from birth to natural death.
Tickets for the Men’s Club Columbus Day Italian Dinner are available after Mass this weekend for a low, low price of $15. Last year’s event was sold out so get your tickets this weekend. Tickets are also available in the Parish Office during business hours this week.

The Men's Club will be selling tickets this weekend and next for a set of three hand crafted kitchen knives set. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. The drawing will take place on September 17 during the Cajun Fest.
Registration will take place Sept. 20th from 5:30-6:30 before regular classes begin. Only first graders and new students to the program need to complete a full registration form. Catholic Charities is pleased to host the Eighth Bishop Begley Conference on Appalachia at the Hayesville First United Methodist Church in Hayesville, NC on Saturday September 23 starting at 9:30AM. The conference will focus on the theme of food insecurity in far western North Carolina.
