This organization offers person-to-person service to our fellow brothers and sisters in need in Cherokee County. SVdP members (Vincentians) offer financial assistance, prayer and information about community resources. All funds come from donations, monthly church collections, grants and fund raising events.

The Sharing Center Ministry is an all-volunteer food pantry supported by donations from Murphy-area churches and individuals, and brings together people from different churches to bring hope to those in need. Our goal is to provide a large selection of grocery items and a smiling, caring face.
Volunteers are always needed!
St. William provides assistance to this wonderful homeless shelter in downtown Murphy. Some parishioners give time as facilitators.
The Friendship House is the only homeless shelter within a 100 mile radius in Western North Carolina.
More volunteers are always needed.

Saint William provides two representatives to the Board of Directors of this low income housing development in Hayesville for the elderly and differently-abled.
The apartments are sponsored by four churches. Besides housing, social activities and medical transportation are provided.
