The Back Pack Program is pleased to announce that they have received a $1000 Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl Mini-Grant from the CRS Program of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Charlotte.  This will help purchase food for the Head Start Program that we supply food for on the weekends. 

As you may know, CRS, founded in 1943, is the official overseas relief and development agency of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.  CRS alleviates suffering and provides assistance to people in need in over 100 countries without regard to race, religion or nationality.  You may visit www.crs.org for more information on the wonderful work they do.
